Code of Business Conduct

The Hosokawa Micron B.V. Code of Business Conduct sets out the principles that guide how we work and make decisions. It applies to our employees and supports responsible relationships with customers, suppliers, shareholders and society. These principles provide the ethical foundation for our business strategy and activities.

Our Code is structured around three dimensions: People, Planet and Profit. Together, they cover our responsibilities towards people and society, the environment and ethical, legally compliant business practices.

Our business principles

People

We respect internationally recognised human rights and promote equal opportunities, inclusion, fair employment practices and personal development. We are committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace, protecting personal information and preventing discrimination, harassment, forced labour, modern slavery and child labour.

Planet

We work to reduce the environmental impact of our operations, products and value chains. Our principles cover the responsible use of energy, water and raw materials, continuous improvement, product stewardship, quality and the development of technologies that support more sustainable production.

Profit

We pursue long-term business success through honest, fair, transparent and legally compliant practices. Our principles address business integrity, fair competition, trade compliance, bribery and corruption, conflicts of interest, company information and property, public dialogue and responsible use of social media.

Supporting the Sustainable Development Goals

The United Nations adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in 2015. The Goals came into force in 2016 and provide a shared framework for social, environmental and economic development. Our business principles support our contribution to these objectives.
