Hosokawa Micron B.V. designs and manufactures equipment and systems for powder and bulk solids processing. Our core technologies include mixing, drying and agglomeration. From our headquarters in Doetinchem, the Netherlands, we serve customers worldwide in industries including chemicals, minerals, food, animal feed, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and advanced materials.
With more than 100 years of experience, we combine technical expertise with a practical mindset. Every process is different, which is why we develop tailored solutions—from laboratory trials to full-scale production systems. 100 years of innovation
Hosokawa Micron B.V. celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2023. The company was founded in Haarlem in 1923 by J.E. Nauta under the name Nautamix. In 1982, it became part of the Japanese Hosokawa Micron Corporation. Machinefabriek Vrieco in Zelhem, ISEM in Doetinchem and Schugi in Lelystad subsequently became part of the company. Hosokawa Micron B.V. moved to its current premises in Doetinchem in 1993.

Our strength lies in understanding each customer’s specific application. With over 2,000 m² of test space and more than 30 machines available at our in-house Test Centre, we support trials for feasibility studies, product development, process optimisation and scale-up.
From concept to commissioning, we support customers throughout the project. Our engineering and project teams work across disciplines to deliver reliable, efficient and compliant systems. Our service team provides lifecycle support through installation, inspection, preventive maintenance, spare parts and service agreements.
