Over the decades, Hosokawa Micron developed many process solutions that have proven successful for a wide variety of animal feed applications, from pilot-scale to production-size installations. A selection of those process solutions is listed below:
- Feed extrusion for aquaculture using an Extrudomix
- Mixing of different types of seeds for bird food using a Nauta mixer
- Mixing of skimmed milk powder, glucose, vitamins for milk replacers in cattle feed using a Nauta mixer
- Mixing of pet food using a continuous paddle mixer
