Homogenizing Tea Blends
Tea leaves are naturally brittle and vary in size—from fine dust to curled leaves or coarse cuts. Maintaining this distribution during blending is essential to ensure even flavour and appearance. The Nauta mixer handles these challenges with a low-shear, convective mixing action that prevents breakage and preserves quality. It’s particularly well-suited for delicate, high-value tea blends where consistency is key.
For flavoured teas, liquids such as essential oils or extracts can be introduced via spray nozzles in the central shaft, ensuring even dispersion without clumping. A typical configuration includes a side outlet for fast discharge and a large access hatch for easy cleaning and visual inspection. The system can also be adapted for hygienic or food-grade requirements to support product safety and traceability.
