The Nauta Minimix operates on a convective mixing principle, combining gentle product handling with exceptional mixing accuracy without product distortion.
The system consists of a rotating cantilevered screw suspended from an orbital arm. The screw transports product from the bottom to the top of the conical vessel, while the orbiting arm guides it along the vessel wall. Gravity causes the product to flow downward through the centre, creating a continuous three-dimensional mixing pattern.
When recirculated by gravity in the conical vessel, the speed of particles in the downwards mass flow increases as the vessel diameter decreases. These simultaneous actions result in fast and intensive mixing with low power consumption and maximum uniformity.
The Nauta Minimix is a stand-alone mixer with support frame and controls, available in three sizes and two types.
