The Hosokawa Micron Powder Tester PT-X is a laboratory instrument for repeatable characterisation of dry powders. Based on established Carr indices, it measures 11 properties related to flowability, floodability, density, compressibility and dispersibility.
Designed for R&D, quality control and comparative testing, the PT-X combines automated test procedures with image-based measurement and data processing. Results support raw-material evaluation, formulation development and monitoring of powder behaviour in production.
